Scrappymom's Sneak Peek #2!!

Well I've been abit behind on Christmas things this year....it was all going so well at the beginning....oh well there's always next year! I think that's the end of the snow here for abit.....our snowman has lost one of his button eyes today! I've been wrapping today but it's very tricky with little ones around.....I think I will attempt it again later. I always do all the wrapping in my house...how about you?

It's been Christmas movies at ours today and lots of chocolate in all forms (no change there though) we all love chocolate here!!

Here's a little card I did last night and my sneek peek #2 of the new Scrappymom's Designer's Choice Stamp Set and all of the sentiments in this set come from the Design Team but can you guess which sentiment belongs to which designer? click here for details of a fun contest going on at Scrappymom's!! Only 4 more sleeps!!!!!

Warm hugs....xx

Birthday Wrap and a giveaway over at the Cutting Cafe!!!

Just popping in with a little birthday wrap I did....it was part of a pressie for a sweet friend. I just wrapped in Kraft/parcel paper and punched the edges of some pretty Alphabet Soup for Girls paper by Zoe Pearn then embellished with a Long Sentiment Tag and sweet sentiment from the Cutting Cafe.

Also , Regina over at the Cutting Cafe is currently showing the monthly inspiration from the Design Team and the theme is of course Christmas!! There are some truly wonderful creations and if you leave a comment over at the Cutting Cafe saying how much you like the projects over at the Cutting Cafe, Regina will draw a name by random .org on the morning of the 15th (PST) to win any 2 sets from the cafe of your choice!!! Be sure to leave an email address so that you can be contacted if you win, click here to go and view the fabulous DT inspiration and don't forget to leave a comment whilst you are there.....good luck!
Have a wonderful day....hugs xx

do not open until Christmas......

I made these cute little mini gift card/money holders which are now hanging on the Christmas tree for Molly and Megan.....everything looks so much more cute in miniature! I added some of Regina's Christmas mini words and Christmas Gift Tags from the Cutting Cafe and Christmas in a square along with sentiment from Scrappymoms - Simple Sentiments, Echo Park stickers and papers and some Cosmo Cricket!

Hubby is out to a Christmas lunch with his Cycling club and then he's off to football so I'm on my own with the girls, I think will be well enough to go back to school tomorrow
for the last week before they break up for Christmas.....I hope so as I've been stuck in for 2 weeks and need to get lots done before the big guy comes!! ;) The girls got letters from Santa during the week so they are soooo excited!!!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend....are you ready for SC?
Hugs xx

Deck the Halls!!!

Have you done yours? We're abit late this year as the girls are sick but we managed to do it last Friday....I think I'm done now for this year! Hubby did the outside lights yesterday....he was home for the day as I had to take Megan to hospital, she had laboured breathing and a chest infection poor honey, she was admitted to hospital this time last year with breathing problems so I was worried but we are home and she is recovering with some meds. Most of my Christmas shopping has been done online this year which has made things alot easier.

I managed to squeeze in some craft time....yay!
I can't stop making these ribbon sliders you can make them longer like this and put chocolate bars in or Hot Cocoa or any sweet treat....I made mine up as I went along but there are plenty of tutorials out there here's one I found here. Papers and the stocking were freebies in my stash and the snowman and mug are from Nancy Kubo - Happy Holiday.
Here's a card I did for a male friend.....I really struggle with male cards, this one is clean and simple looking. I used a Scrappymoms stamp from Simple Sentiments.
This little card I made using Zoe Pearn and Jenn Barrette's - Thankful for you kit...I don't know why I did a tree but this is what came to me at that time.....stamp from Scrappymoms - Simple Sentiments.
Well that's all for today....keep warm wherever you are, it's really cold here in the UK. My grocery shop just arrived so I'm off to put it all away and grab a bite!

Brrrr.......

It's cold here but no white fluffy stuff for me....I think we are the only corner of the UK not had any snow :( some people I know have had 17 inches!!!

I have been looking after 2 poorly girls this week...Molly with Tonsillitis and Megan with Chicken Pox and Molly hasn't had it yet so I think she will get that next...poor honey! They are with me cozy and warm.....just what I love :). Today Molly ate something and believe me there is nothing of her already without having no food for 2 days....all she wanted was pancakes so that is just what I made her and it was so nice to see her eat something and smile again.
Anyway I was after some really quick cards and here's what I came up with. The 1st 4 little cards using Echo Park - Everybody Loves Christmas (I did take individual close ups but my camera must have been on the wrong setting as they didn't come out! The second Snowman card I used a Melissa Frances sticker and The Cutting Cafe Mini Word digital stamp.
That's all for tonight....keep warm, hugs ;) xx

.....It's cold outside!

Brrrr...so chilly and frosty here in the UK today so the hats, gloves and scarfs are out! Had a lovely weekend and am now fully recharged for the week ahead! My husband is visiting friends on Friday so I'm going to try and get some cards done and presents wrapped so he can take them rather then me posting it all. My calendar is getting full up already...so much going on this time of year!! I need to write my Christmas cards this week, I buy my Christmas cards to send to people....it would just be too time consuming to make them all so I buy them and dress up their presents instead! What about you? Here I dressed up some Swiss Milka chocolate bars....don't they look so much prettier like this?

Great for surprise guests, teachers and stocking fillers! Hope you're having a great start to the week.

Quick Christmas Cards!!

Hi all...only 6 weeks til' Christmas....oh my! I have done my daughters stockings and some gifts are wrapped....I hope to finish everything all bought and wrapped and cards mailed out by December 1st so I can then enjoy Christmas instead of it being so hectic!!! Last year I left it all to last minute and shopping in the heaving crowds was horrendous....I thought I was going to faint!! This year it's mostly been done online and I started really early! So far so good!! It feels good to be organised for a change...the start of things to come, I'll keep you posted!

I created these 3 digital cards in my design software....super quick and easy, I then printed out and layered onto my cardstock....3 cards done in about 20 mins which is super quick for me!!
Hubby is out at football today and Molly is out at a bowling party....Megan is home with me....she has a bad chesty cough at the moment so I'm keeping her home in the warm then we are having Chinese later for tea...so no cooking for me...yay!!
I hope you are all having a fabulous weekend....hugs xx

You measure up!!

Hi, here's another fun little bag I dressed up! I love to dress up bags....so quick and easy! It's funny but in the pics it looks like the ribbon doesn't match but it really does...do you ever get that? Weird!

My 7 year old Molly went to a birthday party this afternoon and is off now to a fireworks display with daddy....we just had pizza and they then wrapped up warm and went! I'm staying home with my 3 year old Megan...she's not keen on the bangs so maybe next year for her! What about you? We normally go to a fireworks party at friends but they have moved country :(

Have a fun and safe evening!

Hugs, Bonnie xx

Here's a cute, fun little bag I dressed up using one of Regina's designs over at the Cutting Cafe' called Fun with Frosty the Snowman and the cute tag is also from the Cutting Cafe called Christmas in a square! I used sweet papers from Zoe Pearn at Sweet Shoppe Designs called A Note to Self this was so fun to do and soooo much nicer than a store bought bag I think ;)

Well I need to make a few birthday cards and one is to post today so I'd better get moving!!
Have a fabulous weekend....hugs xx
