You're Frightfully Sweet!

Hey sweet bloggers...this week the Scrappymoms Design Team are showcasing the newest release over at Scrappymom's Stamps -  Homeland Heroes and Warts Up!

For this project I wanted a cute lil' bag to put some treats in! I found a treat box file in Lori Whitlocks Shop and it's free! I also used Halloween files from Lettering Delights and Crafty Ribbons Gingham Ribbon

No tricks, just treats!

Hey sweet bloggers...this week the Scrappymoms Design Team are showcasing the newest release over at Scrappymom's Stamps -  Homeland Heroes and Warts Up!

So super cute and I knew which sentiment I wanted to use first on my project and I tried non tradition colours...I think it turned out pretty cute!

Dear Santa....

Hey guys, it's been a while...I've not be well but am hopefully on the mend now. Just getting into the Christmas spirit now...I love Christmas and really want to get everything finished early this year but I do say that every year and it never happens!  I made this vintage/retro Christmas card...I just love this cute little image by October Afternoon...super sweet!

I forgot to share another little chocolate bar wrapper I made when I started feeling poorly.  It's abit late now as it was for Halloween but thought I would share anyway.  This didn't last long before my girls opened it up and tucked in!

I used this kit by Zoe Pearn Designs

Trick or Treat

Hi everyone....I'm dropping by with a Crafty Ribbons Design Team project using Dani Mogstad's newest digital kit Frightful.
The Crafty Ribbons Challenge this weeks challenge is:-

'ANYTHING GOES'

This challenge will run from 8.30am 17th October until 6pm 6th November, so go link up your projects over on the Crafty Ribbons Challenge Blog HERE! There will be a winner chosen by random org. and there will be a top 3 picked by the Design Team member hosting the challenge!

I chose to do a Halloween card as I wanted to use the stars ribbon along with this cute new digital kit Frightful by Dani Mogstad. The ribbon was white but I distressed it a little with ink and I embossed the black card with stars...I though this would be great with the ribbon.

We are going to friends for Halloween this year...what are you upto? Enjoy :)

The Witch is in!

Hi guys...this weeks Design Team inspiration over on the Cutting Café is Boxes and it's also link up time over at Patches of Pink and the theme is Halloween...go and link up your Halloween projects over on the POP BLOG HERE and you can add upto 2 creations. Link your projects now through Tuesday 11:59pm. The top 3 from this weeks entries will be featured on the Patches of Pink blog....have fun!

I combined two DT projects this week as I am having a nightmare of a week with no kitchen or dining room whatsoever....floors up, wall knocked through and a thick layer of dust everywhere....no fun!  The two rooms we lost have come into the main house and stuff is piled everywhere!  We have new rooms but they are in the process of being wired and plastered!  So combining these projects this week has been a great saviour. Power is back on and if you don't hear from me for a while you know why!

Click here to check out what the Cutting Café design team came up with for this weeks Boxes inspiration.
Click here to to see what the Patches of Pink Design Team came up with for this months Halloween inspiration in link-up.

I created this little pillow box in no time at all.....I love how quickly this came together, I love that Regina (the owner of the Cutting Café) includes the score lines in the cut so you just cut out and fold on the dashed cut lines and adhere together....super quick and easy as pie and no scoring......great when are have no time but need a cute little box to put a gift in!!

Here are the 4 cut-outs you get in this file.

Supplies:
Pillow Box: the Cutting Café
PP: Echo Park Country Drive
Ribbon: Crafty Ribbons (velvet saddlestitch) & Priarie Bird Boutique (crinkle ribbon)
