Oh what a hoot!!!

Hello lovelies....I love this cute saying and adorable little owls from K and Company! The cute rainbow paper was a freebie with Papercrafts.



Hope you are all having a fun-filled day! Hubby is off today and has gone cycling with his buddy so I'm just at home with my little girl who is playing around me whilst I craft...she is chattering away to herself.

The beautiful sun was shining so we popped out for some doughnuts but it was so chilly...it was 2 degrees in the car yesterday morning brrrr...what's up with the weather lately! We are off to Florida in 2 weeks and I cannot wait for the warm weather!!!

That's all folks, i'm off to clear up the trail of destruction my daughter has left...oh the joys!!

Pink snow blossoms

This is what my 2 little girls call the beautiful pink blossoms that are falling from the trees in the Spring breeze. When they fall it leaves a pink carpet...so pretty!

It's a gorgeous day here in the UK, not a cloud in the sky!

I created this card for a sweet little boy in my daughters class, unfortunately she can't attend his party as we have a family function on the same day :(. I used Cricut New Arrival Cartridge.

Yummy Cake!

Hi guys.....it's been such a beautiful day here in the UK....my car said 25 degrees and that was when I was doing the school run this afternoon! I sneaked in this card before my chores today...whilst my little ones were playing in the garden and in between cooking tea! I used Regina's newest Stamp Set over at The Cutting Cafe' called All Occasion Banner Set!! Not sure that I'm totally happy with my card but here ya go!

Pretty Notes

Hey lovelies....my little girl Molly is 6 and she loves writing notes and has little bits of paper everywhere with her sweet notes and messages on, she leaves them on my pillow at night for me and her daddy to find when we go to bed, she's such a sweetie. I made these cute little notes pads for her using cut up A4 sheets folded in half and stapled with a pretty paper on the outside and she keeps them in her bedside table.....these were a huge hit so I will definately be making her more!!

Strawberries and Cream please...

Mmmm I love Strawberries, my mum said that strawberries and cream is all she ate whilst pregnant with me! My 3 year old little girl Megan loves Strawberries like me but I think she may be allergic...not sure yet, I hope not because they are sooooo yummy!

Regina over at The Cutting Cafe' has some great new sets out, at least 5 new boy sets and some new shaped cards too! Here I used the Strawberry Shaped Card Template!

Sweet Happy Sunday!

Hi all, It's sooo beautiful here in the UK today, clear blue skies and not a cloud in sight! I'm spending Sunday with my little ones at home...they are just playing in the garden having fun!

Regina at The Cutting Cafe' has released some new awesome stamps and I decided to use her Boat Shaped Card....I love boats, they don't particularly like me though, I usually get seasick! It's was my Dad's dream to have a boat and sail everywhere in it, he got cancer and my mum and dad decided to sell up the house and everything and do just that! He had his dream for a year before he passed away and that year was amazing....I have such fond memories of that boat and staying in it, I spent my 21st birthday on it and we sailed around and dropped the anchor in the middle of the ocean to swim and have champagne and strawberries and cream for my birthday...it was awesome and a memory I will treasure forever!

Busy Beeeeeee

Well I've been a busy bee with the kiddo's this Easter holiday, we had my niece over to stay for over a week which was so lovely for my girls...they all get on so well. We've done Easter Egg Hunts, lots of crafting, baking, painting, dressing-up, scrap booking, watched movies, been out and about! Not much time for me to craft but lovely to do it with the little ones!!!



Here's a little box I did last night for my Mum, she has no luck...she could write a story about her life from birth, which would be amazing. My mum has been through so much heartache throughout her life but she is still so strong and such a fighter and I am so proud to be her daughter, she is a warrior and will beat anything that life throws at her. If you find time to say a little prayer for my Mum I would be so grateful....she is in remission from breast cancer but has now found out she may have liver disease probably due to the extensive chemotherapy she had for that...we are not sure about all the details yet so I will know more soon but I am praying she will be OK.



Anyways here is the little box....I hope it will brighten her day and make her smile :)

Little chick

Hi all and happy Monday! It is a rainy day here in the UK...my little ones like it though as they get to jump in the puddles and hold their cute umberellas....Disney princess and Dora!

Had a lovely relaxing weekend, yummy Chinese on Sat.....my girls love Chinese food! Caught up on some housework yesterday and sorted and tidied up some craft stuff. We lost our hour here in the UK over the weekend so it was tough getting the girls up for School and Nursery this morning....but Spring is coming...yay!!!

I made this little gift/money holder wallet using one of Regina's wonderful templates from The Cutting Cafe' it's great and so easy to put together and you can use it for any holiday/occasion.

Lady Duck!

I adore this gorgeous duck shaped card over at The Cutting Cafe' , I love all the shaped cards over there but this little one caught my eye...such a cutie! I wanted this little duck to be a lady so I dressed her accordingly and glittered her up abit too...you can never have too much sparkle...right? :)

Card for Father-in-Law

I always struggle with male cards....trying to keep them as plain and simple as can be! It's my FIL's birthday tomorrow and this is what I came up with....he's not a bells and whistles kinda guy!! What do you think? I hope he likes it.
It was hard getting a good card pic today...weather is dull and grey here in the UK :(

Not upto much really...made a yummy Lemon Drizzle Cake last night which has nearly all gone now! My 6 year old daughter Molly is home from school and has popped out with hubby to get take-away for tea...I love Friday's and hubby is home all weekend which is a rarity!

Yes that is what we're having today but I like it is because it makes pretty rainbows!!
Here is a quick card I made this morning whilst my lil Megan was at nursery! We are back from nursery now watching Bolt...my little one loves this movie soooo much and requests it several times a day...she likes watching the same bit over and over!!!

I just made Funnel Cake...yum!

I saw these on The Pioneer Woman blog and I just had to try! I didn't realise it used a similar batter mix to pancakes so I just made a simple pancake batter that I normally use and added vanilla extract and sugar and that was it...click on the link for a recipe from Tasty Kitchen but I'm not great at following recipes...I always change them!

You should pour through a funnel but I didn't have one so had to just pour straight into the hot oil but I'm sure it would be even better with one....I couldn't wait that long!! I poured mine abit to quickly too so it hasn't separated as well as it should but it tasted just the same! Here it is!!

I always have these when we go to Florida and I normally have the ones with ice-cream and fresh strawberries on top and then drizzled with hot chocolate sauce....yum!!! They really fill you up too!

No school run for me this afternoon...Molly is at a little friends for tea after school so I can have a nice afternoon with little Megan.

Easter Treats

It's such a gorgeous day today there isn't a cloud in the sky...just beautiful! One of my favourite times of year is Easter when the weather starts to warm up and the flowers bloom...love it!

Here is some Easter goodness!

Had a lovely lazy weekend...ate far too many Krispy Kremes...I can't tell you how much I love those!! My baby girl Megan will be 3 on Wednesday...I cannot believe it!! I am treasuring each and every moment beacuse in a flash it will be gone! Hubby is off on Wednesday too...yay!

Happy Sweet Valentine's Day!

I made these for my little girls...they love stuff like this and they too love to get all the craft supplies out!! They have their own little supplies and if they had their way they would come out everyday but they make such a mess I have to limit it....we tend to stick to weekends and holidays for their crafting!!! They opened their Valentine treats this morning and much chocolate is now being consumed!!!

This cute little bag was done with one of Regina's yummy templates, it was super easy to make and I used the Sweet Treats Cricut Cartridge for the handles! It is filled with these cute little chocolate caramel ladybirds...yum!

I did these for Molly's class.....there are 30 children in her class.....it was a high birth year! They are marshmallow poles, tied with red raffia and a cute label I found online! They were super easy to put together but doing 30 took some time!
