Summer Popsicles!

Hello....it's been toooo long!!! I am delighted to say that I now have a new printer which I love and a new camera as my old ones totally died on me...phew was I relieved to get those!! I was sent the wrong lead first of all for my printer...I couldn't wait to get printing again as soon as it was all up and running! I've had a few projects in the works since but nothing finished until today!! I do that often...start something and come back to it a few days later, anyone else do that???


Anyway I was lucky enough to have some gorgeous ribbons sent to me from Crafty Ribbons to have a play with so I used a couple on these two cards. First card is a Popsicle Shaped Card from the Cutting Cafe...this is a must have set which I absolutely love...soooo cute!! I actually doodled on this card after taking the pic....silly me but it really finished the card off!! On the back is a personalised label also from the Cutting Cafe.






This next card is from Cricut Paisley Cart...I did mean to put a sentiment on but totally forgot!!! I don't craft well with the little ones around!!! We still have 2 weeks to go before school starts again so we're winding down now!


I used another customised label on the back from the Cutting Cafe.

Hi everyone....had a hectic week, my printer went to printer heaven, my camera was dropped a few weeks ago and is starting to do strange things and my computer is on it's last legs too!!

I met up with some mum's for a play date at Adventure Castle in Hertford...slides and balls and fun, fun, fun!!! My brother came over with his triplets for the day...that was total chaos but lovely all at the same time!! Yesterday was my hubby's 40th birthday party which was great and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, my brother provided the music...he is a singer and fun was had by all!!

Christmas in July!!

Yes I am one of those that thinks about Christmas in July...in fact I always think about Christmas....I love it...it's my most favourite of all the holidays and I try to make it special and magical for my little girls!!!

As soon as I saw one of Regina's new files over at The Cutting Cafe' called Line Paper Note Pad, I knew what I wanted to do with it....I created a sweet little set of Thank you Notes to send after Christmas!!! I used some old K&Co papers from the Peppermint Twist line....so cute and I seem to have loads of it so you'll be seeing lots of creations using it all up!!!

My plan this year is to have everything done and organised by December 1st!!! It's my daughter Molly's birthday on Christmas Day so I have that to organise on top of Christmas which is already hectic!!

I hope you're all enjoying the Summer...my girls are better now so the fun is just beginning!

Summer Spring/Cleaning!!

Hey sweeties! My little girls have both been sick :( Megan my 3 year old caught something on the last couple of days of nursery last week, some kind of sickness bug and last night Molly had it!! So today I have been cleaning/scrubbing disinfecting the house making it all sparkly, I wish I had a wand like on Wizards of Waverly place...my girls love that program!!! While I was at it, I had a big clearout of Molly's bedroom, she is a hoarder so we got ruthless!! I bought her a lovely new duvet cover with cupcakes on...she loves cupcakes like her mama! I still have a ton to do but I am getting there and even though I'm knackered, it feels good to clean!

I made this sweet friends card last night...I'm lovin the colours...the sweet papers are by one of my absolute favourite designers ZOE PEARN and this paper is from Alphabet Soup line....soooo adorably cute!!

Hello lovelies....it's such a beautiful day today, I hope it's nice where you are!

I've been wanted to make a card with this gorgeous template designed by Regina over at the Cutting Cafe'...this was a pdf file that I cut out by hand or you can convert the file and use your cutting machine if you have the software. This was super easy to cut with a craft knife and I used Regina's Got Coffee file for the cute sentiment.

School's out..yay!!!

My girls finished school for the Summer on Friday...yay! We have lots planned for the holidays...fun,fun,fun! Cousins (triplets) over in the week and big cousin Lily who's 10 over to stay with me for a couple of weeks.....my girls love having her stay! Lily loves to craft and bake when she comes to stay!

I snapped this pic of a gift I did for Molly's teacher...just before Molly went to school to give it to her....lol! I always seem to leave it to the last minute to take pics!!

Well hubby has gone for a bike ride for the morning and I am off to bake some brownies with the girls...we only seem to get time to bake in the holidays so we make the most of it!!

Busy as can beeee!

Hello sweet friends....I've had a busy week sorting out house stuff..we finally got planning to have our extension so lots of organising was to be done and then end of school stuff going on as school is out here in the UK on Friday!!! WOOHOO!!!


My sweet friend and one of the mums at school lost her dear husband 10 days ago...she is widowed at age 32 and they have 2 sweet little girls aged 3 and 6 in the same classes as my girls. I am so sad and my heart goes out to this sweet little family whose world has come crashing down. He was diagnosed with cancer 3 months ago. I wanted to make a card and I really struggled....I've never made this type of card before and it was so tough. Please excuse the pictures....I took it first thing this morning before dashing out to Sports Day at school where I gave it to my sweet friend.
On the same day I gave this card, I gave another card to another mum who has just had a little baby Girl....please excuse the blurry pic!!

Hello lovelies....hope you all had a great weekend! I had a quiet one with some friends over Friday evening for Chinese Takeaway then pottering around at home on Saturday getting some bike items of my husbands ready to sell on eBay and then on Sunday, we went to the in-laws for roast beef...yum!!

In between I made this sweet new home card for my Brother-in-Law and Sister-in-Law who live in Brisbane Australia...it's horrible being so far away and we only get to go every 3 years or so :( but I absolutely love Australia!! We did try to emigrate a few years ago but some things got in the way so we're still in the UK for the time being...I think we will stay here now.

FEELING HOT, HOT, HOT!!!

It's so hot here today....we're in for a warm weekend too! We have friends over this evening and it's one of their birthday's on Sunday so I made him this little guy!Our friend is a cancarian so I thought this cute little crab would be a fun, cute card to make. The card is a salmon pink in colour...although you can't tell in the pic for some reason! I think it needs abit of doodling or something...I may do that before I give it out!

Hootie Patootie!

I had a little play with Create a Critter today...this is definately one of my favourite carts....soooo cute!!!I love the colour scheme I chose for this little one!

I also had to make 3 quick cards too the other week but forgot to show you, I used my Hello Kitty cart for 2 of them and Create a Critter for the little Dino!! I quickly photographed them before dashing out the door but didn't get chance to photograph them individually.

Today my little Megan went back to nursery after her burn....she still has her dressing on but I have put leggings under her dress to keep it all in place.

Well it's been raining this morning after we were issued a hosepipe ban!!! We've not had rain for so long and our grass in the garden is brown instead of green...lol!!

Well i'm off to do some chores....oh what fun!!!

Just Because

Hello everyone...I hope you are all having fun and those of you in the US enjoyed the 4th July celebrations!!

We had a fairly quiet weekend..my daughter went for a sleepover at Nanna & Grandads. My 3 year old Megan burnt the back of her thigh. She climbed up onto the side where I had just had a hot pan....ouch and it was partly on the metal drainer which holds the heat...I felt so bad! We had a couple of trips to the hospital for dressings but thankfully she is all ok and recovering well. I couldn't bath her but tonight I can...wish me luck!

Today I finished off a little box I started yesterday...this cute little box template can be found over at The Cutting Cafe' and is so easy to assemble, I just printed out on cardstock, cut and assembled adding the embellishments. Inside the box I put paper wraps on some little Love Hearts sweets (same as conversation hearts).

Well I'm off to get my girls bathed and to bed....then some crafting time i think!

Princess Notebook

Hi everyone.....had a crazy birthday weekend cramming in lots and eating lots of CAKE..YUM!!! My Mummy was here and when she comes she always looks after me and organizes me....I cannot seem to do those things by myself and she helped me lots! We went shopping as we always do and it was really lovely. My mum lives far away from me so I don't get to see her as often as I would like. but when she's here we make it special.

I prettied up this little notebook with some gorgeous princess papers from my sweet friend Katrina....I'm not sure where they are from but I love them sooo much! I've been saving the papers for something special and this little book was made for my Sister-in-Law to be Claire who is getting married to my Brother in September....I cannot wait!!!! She has lots of lists at the moment leading upto the wedding so I thought this would be handy for her.Have a great evening...weather is beautiful here in the UK at the moment so I'm making the most of it!!

Birthday Fun!!!

Hi everyone!! Well I must have brought some of that Florida weather back to the UK as it's been glorious since I got home! I still haven't unpacked everything but my laundry is now under control...my house is still not in order though, in actual fact it looks like we've been burgled...so messy, I'm trying to get it all sorted as my mum is coming to visit for my birthday and my Brother's triplets 2nd birthday party on Saturday...so it's all go!!!!

Last night I did abit of crafting and now I can't see my desk...lol!!! I have a few friends birthday's coming up and I bought this gorgeous butterfly necklace for one of them and just had to pretty up a little box to put it in.

HOME SWEET HOME

Hi guys, I'm back from sunny Florida...OMG it was hot!!! Disneyworld is sooo magical and each time I go I love it even more! My girls loved every minute of it and were real daredevils when it came to the rollercoasters ;) Magic Kingdom is my favourite of all the parks and I managed to squeeze lots of shopping in.

Anyway I'm at home now with a ton of laundry to do...it's the size of a mountain! We left the house nice and clean when we left but it looks trashed now that we are home with all the cases emptied! We had little food in the house and opted for Pizza Hut to deliver our tea last night! I had stuff in the freezer but was so knackered. The girls are not jetlagged but I am!

I cannot wait to get crafting again...my goodness I have missed you all and cannot wait to catch up with everyone.

I couldn't resist this new file Huge Cupcake over at the Cutting Cafe' and had to create with it. Hope you like it, I think I went abit overboard on the glitter though!!

Well I have just under 1 hour now to do a few chores then go pick up Megan from nursery. It's a glorious day here in the UK...nice to come home to warm weather!

Mickey Mouse here we come!

Yes we are on holiday....in Disneyworld, Florida! Ok this post is scheduled to post whilst I'm on holiday in Florida so I'm hoping it reaches you well and good...it's the first time I've done a scheduled post.....ha!!

I cannot believe it's been over a week since I last blogged...this week has been hectic getting ready for our holiday....organising and packing, I get excited that I'm going but really dislike having to think of what to take for everyone! I love lists and have to have them....they are everywhere though! My girls are so excited and cannot decide which princess dresses to take...they like to walk around the parks in them...so sweet. My DH is only taking 2 tees and swimmers...everything else he's buying there...he was the easy one! I have to say I am looking forward to the shopping even though the exchange rates are not as great as they have been on past trips but I just love everything in America...the people, the food, the shopping and of course Disney....sooo magical and I am like a big kid! My mum is half American, perhaps that's why I love it so much...maybe I feel a connection there but my DH also loves it. My mum was adopted at birth, her father was American and her mother English.

Anyway I have been rambling....here's a card I did in between packing!!! Lighting wasn't great as weather is grey and raining here in the UK.

Fun in the sun!

Hi all.....Hubby is off today so he's doing the school runs and I'm pottering around at home and in the garden soaking up this glorious sunshine we have today. My little one is now home and with her daddy in the garden digging :) in her tap shoes!!! All I can hear is her clip-clopping round the garden...sweet!

Regina over at The Cutting Cafe' has some awesome new birthday sets out and what super timing as I needed a birthday card for my Sister-in-Law to be (her and my Brother are getting married in September)!! I am a Bridesmaid and my little ones are flower girls!
On the back of my card I put one of Regina's Customised labels. which are just fabulous and I think it add's that finishing touch to a card!

Today we are having tea at my Mother-in-Laws...yay no cooking, more time to craft!!!

I love banners!

These are just so adorable right now and Regina over at The Cutting Cafe' has released some fabulous new sets including this sweet banner :) I love it....sooo adorable and what's so great about these banners is that you can use all your scraps!! WOOHOO...nothing better than that!

I made this sweet card for a 70th birthday...I hope she likes it! This lovely sweet lady asked if I would make her 2 pavlovas for her party....it's my speciality and they seem to go in a flash!!

Off now to pick my little one up from nursery then grocery shopping...oh what fun!!
