Hi everyone....I'm dropping by with a Crafty Ribbons Design Team project. I'm into making tags lately and love the sentiment on this ribbon.

Sweet Baby Boy!

It's a snow day here in the UK around my neck of the woods...girls have been out to make a snowman and snow angels and we are now all snuggled up with a hot cocoa and blankets watching tv!!  I love days like this....off to make a roast dinner soon though so just whipping up a quick post! I did a sweet baby card, I wanted to originally do the stalk too but the bird is quite wide and to fit it on it would have been too small so I went with just the stalk but I think it turned out sweet.

This month over at Jessica Sprague I am designing for Queen of Quirk so I used her gorgeous kit Bare Branches for my card.  I also wanted to show you the back of my card.  Regina over at the Cutting Café has a Handmade just for you file you can get customised and I used this for the back with a scallop punch.

It's all good.....

.....here in this household!!! Thank you to everyone for your sweet comments, I truly appreciate each and every one. Little Megan is better and being her naughty little self...she really is a feisty one...keeps me on my toes! So back to crafting, I have 3 cards to share today!! Enjoy!

Owl so sweet...

I love this cute lil baby owl card...so sweet.

I hope you are all having fab weekend....I'm just hanging out with my girls, one of them has a Disco birthday party to go to later, then hubs is bringing home Chinese later....yum! I fancy doing some baking...we'll see. I have to be in the mood to bake so perhaps I should go for it!

Busy as can beeee!

Hello sweet friends....I've had a busy week sorting out house stuff..we finally got planning to have our extension so lots of organising was to be done and then end of school stuff going on as school is out here in the UK on Friday!!! WOOHOO!!!


My sweet friend and one of the mums at school lost her dear husband 10 days ago...she is widowed at age 32 and they have 2 sweet little girls aged 3 and 6 in the same classes as my girls. I am so sad and my heart goes out to this sweet little family whose world has come crashing down. He was diagnosed with cancer 3 months ago. I wanted to make a card and I really struggled....I've never made this type of card before and it was so tough. Please excuse the pictures....I took it first thing this morning before dashing out to Sports Day at school where I gave it to my sweet friend.
On the same day I gave this card, I gave another card to another mum who has just had a little baby Girl....please excuse the blurry pic!!

Lady Duck!

I adore this gorgeous duck shaped card over at The Cutting Cafe' , I love all the shaped cards over there but this little one caught my eye...such a cutie! I wanted this little duck to be a lady so I dressed her accordingly and glittered her up abit too...you can never have too much sparkle...right? :)

I'm having such fun at the Cutting Cafe!!

New Baby

Awww, one of the mums at school had a sweet baby boy on New Years Eve so I whipped up a quick card and gift. I forgot to photograph the gift which was a cute baby grow with embroidered Westie dogs on which came with a hat and little westie dog soft toy...so cute!!!

I decided to go green to make a change from baby blue!!! Turned out ok I think!
